In addition to problem solving, critical thinking requires analyzing information at all levels of comprehension as well as making decisions about those processes as well as how those decisions will impact the future results from those activities. Leadership skills require the ability to communicate with others in a manner that will help them understand your ideas and strategies. Leaders also must understand when to go with the flow and when to lead others in a specific direction. Lastly, these three skills all combine to form economics. Economics is a discipline that can be learned but cannot be taught. This makes it particularly useful for leaders who need the ability to shape an entire organization's direction while also having the flexibility of identifying temporary problems and solutions depending on specific circumstances at hand.
